Received the Harvest today and set it up with no problems except for the WiFi. I called customer service and Jamie told me the WiFi needed to be 2.4 and not 5.0 . So i called Comcast and they fixed this for me. The AG unit is connected to Harvest but not completely. The last step in the process is to scan the bar code with your phone's camera. This did not work because camera scanned for a long time without any response. Then i entered the code by hand several times. Again no response. I intend to call Jamie again tomorrow. She said she was told IT fixed the problems.
I also uninstalled the app on phone and reinstalled.

I do not have any wi-fi units. However in reading this thread, it appears that their wifi password was too long. I amnot saying htat is the problem but may be.
I hope you get it corrected but at least you can start your gardens

From this point my problem seems to be scanning the bar code into my phone. Hope it gets fixed without much difficulty.

I don’t have any WiFi units either. I wish I could help. Hopefully they’ll get you set up quickly and easily.

I tried again in the late afternoon to scan the bar code from the base of the unit and no luck. Its very frustrating. I would have been better off with the Harvest without the WiFi.

Day 3 and still no WiFi. The IT person at Aerogarden has been working on this steadily. Customer Service person sent her an E mail today describing my problem in detail. My I phone is not new but not old either. It is one of the smaller ones, an SE 6. Meantime I have interrupted the sprouting cycle by turning out the lights to scan the bar code I am sure the seed sprouting has been effected but still have hope.

THey should be ok. Can't you still set it up and not use the Wi-Fi so the garden turns off and on at the times you want them?

The lights are cycling on at 6 am and off at 10:30 pm. Directions say 16.5 hours of light for salad greens. Its kind of exciting watching for the little seedlings to show themselves.

It is exciting to see your own produce, flowers, etc grow. Then to be able to consume it is even better and fresher.

I am a retired RN so I have all day at home with my birds and now the plants. I now can make out tiny, and I mean tiny green leaves forming in two of the pods below the line of the hold in the pod. I think tomorrow they will be poking up into the world. Two of the pods look like nothing is happening. The two that I can see are the Black Seeded Simpson and Marvel of for Seasons.
By the way here is a question for anyone reading these postings. Where do you think the seeds get their names? Who names them?

Just kidding. I wish I knew. I heard once that the people/person who discover(s) a plant can name it but I have NO idea if that's actually true.

Congratulations on your first little seedlings! The names are funny sometimes, aren’t they? I especially wonder why they named my favorite lettuce “Dragoon”. I have no idea what similarity certain aspects of the lettuce could have to historical military mounted regiments, lol. I think I read that Marvel of the Four Seasons was so named because it adapted well to growing in each season. Mike said that “Jericho” lettuce was named because it grows well in hot climates. Each of these makes sense. The rest, Lol.

Can't go wrong with lettuce..it is like a shot in the arm of a huge dose of encouragement!
And what of the variety Deer Tongue...the shape of the leaves is a perfect replica!

My Bounty + WiFi model showed up.
Knowing about out all the issues ahead of time, I tried for days to log into the app before my unit showed up. Got into the app before it arrived and was afraid to close the app in fear it would log me out lol.
So I kept it open in the background. After several attempts I managed to connect the Bounty to the WiFi. And then many attempts later did get it to sync to the app.
Annnd I can say the app is meh. It’s not really worth it anyway. I’m using it because SOMEHOW I got it working. But like. I check my units in person.
The app just shows me the screen on the unit itself. It has links to the store to make purchases and the blog for recipes etc. All things I can do without the app.
The one feature I kind of like is the ability to upload/have pictures. But again, I could just make an album on my phone for the garden and use that.
All in all, I don’t see myself getting much use out of the app so you’re really not missing anything, if it makes you feel better. I can check water and nute levels but realistically I’ll know if I’m going away long enough to need someone to plant sit for me after topping off those two things.
I can also turn the lights on or off...but again, not really sure I see much use for this feature.
