Park Seed Buttercrunch Lettuce planted in my Harvest on August 28. (R&R on September 20) Edit: Looking at this photo again, I think that the buttercrunch is in the back. The pod in the front water port looks like some other (loose leaf) lettuce... perhaps Red Sails or Salad Bowl.  |

I had started a new Buttercrunch in my Harvest on 9-28, but it didn't look right today. The leaves were small and looked dry. So I measured my ED (TDS), and apparently I had never added nutes.  I did an R&R and hope to upload a nicer-looking garden soon.  |

Ohmygosh I’m so glad I’m not alone! I recently did this to a number of my gardens, lol. Hopefully since yours are greens they’ll rebound just fine.

It recovered nicely from my failure to add nutes originally.
Buttercrunch Lettuce is a good balance (texture-wise) between the "fluffy" lettuces like BSS and the hardier, denser lettuces like Deer Tongue and Parris Island. The taste is like the average lettuce.
