I've cleaned out 3 of my Farm pumps, and now all three are failing to work. Can you help?

Happy, what have you done to clean them? Have you taken them apart completely? Are they different from the Bounty pumps?
If it is the same, I can try to put together either a video or step by steps on taking it apart and cleaning it. I know I have a picture of what mine looked like here.

Thank you, Shawn.
They're just like the Bounty pumps, but with a longer cord. I don't mind ordering some, but Amazon doesn't carry them and AeroGrow takes forever to ship (as you all know).
I unscrewed the black cover, removed the pump, pulled off the cap, cleaned everything up, including the propeller, then replaced everything.
I'm unable to find any videos about cleaning out the pump... only how to replace them. So a video from you would be most welcome!

Ignore my allergies, they are so bad today. Please let me know if this helps and if you need anything else.

Oh, I'm sorry that you have allergies, too, Shawn. Are you growing any flowering plants (like tomatoes, peppers...) indoors? I hope not. That's why I only grow greens. Thanks for making the video.

As for allergies, nothing in the house is doing it. I was outside and something out there got them going.

One time I cleaned my Tall machines and thought the pumps were dead, but it turned out to be this thing..the spout or 'fountain' as I call it.
Every time I clean the pump, I have to yank that fountain out and as I fill the reservoir, the water begins to bubble up from the little white plastic circle base underneath it. I just fit it back in securely and ..VOILA". The water is bubbling again. I have no idea if the Farm has one of these, but just thought I would mention it.

@cornne, I think I have a video here on how to remove and replace that piece for cleaning as well. That can get nutes in it as well. Thanks for that reminder

Happy did you resolve your pump issue? I just cleaned out my bounty and I swear when i plugged it in I saw water coming out but when I went back the pump is dead. No flow. Even rechecked the pump, took completely apart.

orangetabbys, did you put the pump back together again making sure everything was in correctly? Did you plug it back in? Is it set to run 24/7? How old is the unit?

This happens to so many people. It happens to me every time I dump all the water out of the reservoir. There are 2 things that are a 'fix' every time ; 1) After you dump the water and fill the tank back up,pull out that 'tower' like tube in the middle of the bowl where the water bubbles out . Just go ahead and yank it out of its white base. I refer to the tube that is NEXT to the low water 'fill-to-here' tube. You will see water faintly trying to bubble out of the little white circular base. Now put your tube back on and the water will most likely start to bubble up through that spout like before.
2) try dialing up your pump to 3, but not too high or you will have water all over the place after a few hours.
In all the years I don;t think I have replaced a Bounty or Ultra pump but once! (we won;t ask about the replacing of hoods,though..ugh)
i know I have posted about 3 times on this, but..one usually posts a suggestion on a 'fix' that has worked for them 'again and again'.(oxymoron?) But I PROMISE..this is the last time.

Yes i took it all back apart and put it back together making sure everything was flush and tight. I did try the tube part, and there is absolutely no flow from the pump, cannot hear it, no vibration, it even felt warm when i first pulled it out of the water. Thinking its a gonner. I got the bounty back in February or so, and this was my first ever grow in it. The pump is set for 60 on 0 off. Everytime i try doin a test pump run it doesnt have any flow.

orangetabbys, I had this happen to me twice. I always have spares on hand just in case. You can manually over ride the time for the pump to run all day. It would be 1440 ON and 0 Off. You can manually change it just to test. Also if it is within warranty they will or should send you a new one. I would call them to see.

orangetabbys, All I remember is that I had apparently damaged them myself while cleaning them. Debby at AG said that we shouldn't clean the insides. So I replaced all three (and bought some spares) and have been doing fine ever since. Good luck!
