Get those babies in line. How dare they. But seriously, Yikes .. Lets just hope the initials are still growing.

I have no idea on this plant. I clipped off the larger cuke that seemed to be doing poorly, and this morning about 3 more babies came out! What's up with that?

Photos of 2 of the new babies. trying to shake loose the pollen inside the flower. These are supposed to be self pollinating. However, if these are a fail I will end the Divas and plant another Mini Munch.

These look good so far and I hope they continue to as well.

This project is puzzling. New baby cukes come out , start to about 1.5" long and then peter out. It is almost as if they have not been pollinated. Today I show the most recent ones :
If these do not grow I will discontinue the project as they are supposed to be self pollinating(Davis'd Seeds) and I have been brushing the flowers to loosen the pollen inside.

This is what happened to me with my mini cukes. And each new flower I would even shake up a bit too just in case, which I shouldn't have needed to do.

Hi Orange! This Mason Jar thing is a novelty for me. I also have a Mini Munch started in another jar. The Minis I have had tremendous good luck with in the Ultra machine in the past and am thinking of replacing this Mason Jar with perhaps a small pepper and growing another Mini Munch in a Bounty again with a more powerful hood.....we'll see.

Yes now that youre saying it that's what I concluded for myself (size wise), was that I should not have grown 2 in a harvest. I'll either do one in the harvest or bounty, just depending on what else I may have going on.

That is puzzling. To see them growing and stop. It is a head scratcher

Well, this a.m. I woke up to see one that seems to be maturing and is at the farthest stage any of the others have achieved. If this one succumbs, I will end and restart with another Jar Project. Another option is to take the roots out and plop them into the AG machine sitting next to it and transplant it using the sponge disk from the jar .

I am hoping. This grew a bit more overnight and drank the entire jar dry..Definitely a fertilized cuke.

Trying to keep this alive by clipping off all new cukes and allowing the energy to go to the mature one. A few old leaves have yet to come off.
