A noontime lunch using AG lettuce , garden toms and the cuke from the Mason Jar Project. These are in the refrigerator being chilled. Taste & Texture: Juicy and crisp . Not a strong cuke taste like the snacking cukes from the market, though.
This is a fun project, but the roots are too many to grow properly in a confined jar space. I would consider it a novelty project.
The plant gave off many baby cukes which eventually died and this one cuke pushed its way.
Definitely not as prolific as the AG Mini Cuke Projects in the past.
Even though this was a terrifically FUN project,I would not plant the Diva again in the Mason Jar, but would try other mini dwarf projects, like some toms I have up my sleeve.
