I trimmed the longer branch off the top to keep it out of the CFL’s and they’re doing great.

Wow ... just wow! Clean, tidy little cherry tomato “trees” is what they look like. Sure hope I can prune mine to look like that!!!

Thanks! In terms of pruning, I almost waited too long to do that initial prune to keep them low, but I got it just in time. All I’ve done since then is remove unsightly large, old yellowing leaves towards the bottom. And that cowlic at the top.

The fruit has gotten so heavy that the plants were toppling over, so I turned them in such a way that I could lean the left one against the pole, and the one on the right is actually draped on top of the Sprout next to it.

Smart and turning them help keep the roots in check.

Look what I came home to last night. In the space of 1 day I suddenly had color!! The yellow is my first of that type. I can’t wait to taste it!

You can kind of see here how I have the top-heavy red plant propped on top of the neighboring Sprout. The reds are definitely slower than the yellow, but a few more have changed color.

I had my first yellow last night. I had wanted to wait to do a side by side tasting with the red, but I couldn’t help myself!
