I had to move this machine to a white wall where it would get more reflected light.
Against the wood wall, the plants were getting too pale in the Bounty Basic for lack of light. They had plenty of nutrients.
It's hard to follow the recommendations for light height when the lights won't go lower than 8 inches from the deck. From now on I will grow seedlings to a decent height before transplanting them into this machine.
(I needed to vent -- sorry!) 
I may thin them out to two plants once they really start growing.

Dont fret on the height of the hood. That is an acceptable height to start plants. Thin about how far away the sun is to freshly planted items.
Also you can try placing foil around to reflect light

These are not growing as compactly as I would like. But maybe they won't be as overly dense as the last batch.
I will eventually choose the best two plants to give them room to grow.

The three peppers were getting crowded in the Bounty, so I moved one to a Harvest.
It will soon be time to trim off some of the big leaves.

It's time to do some heavy pruning again. I dread that part!
I have two plants in the Bounty Basic and one in the Harvest.

I had put off pruning the overgrowth of my pepper plants way too long -- just because they were such full, bushy, beautiful plants.
But I finally did a merciless pruning job on them today. And look what I found underneath all of the leaves!

I have two peppers in a Bounty, and one in a Harvest. They are budding and blooming.
mike, is it too late to transfer the plant in the Harvest to a NFT in the grow tent?
It will be next week before I could transplant it because my other light and NFT unit are delayed in transit.
Or should I just leave it in the Harvest at this late stage?

That depends on your root ball. If you can get it out and transferred over with out too much damage to the roots, then go for it. Pepper plants are pretty resilient. I've cut out quite a bit of root mass before without significant damage to the plant. The plants may initially be traumatized for a bit, but they should recover OK.

I agree with Mike, if you can get the roots out (I have carefully squeezed out at much water from them as possible and carefully molded the roots into a long rope and twisted out of the pod hole. Again carefully. You may have to trim a little of the roots. But I have transplanted (ok still a beginner but have done it three or four times) with success to an outdoor planter and they survivied and thrived.

Just when I was at the, "I don't believe these peppers are ever going to ripen!" stage, I saw my first blush of purple today. This batch is growing differently than my other ones. Most of my earlier Sweet Heats were at the bottom. These have plenty at the bottom, but also a lot in the canopy.
