mike, no offense, but those peppers lack a wee bit in the aesthetic department.
I hope they are what you are expecting and that you are happy with them.

OK Sher, they aren't pretty. But they are ripening. They are also blindingly hot! I had three completely ripe tiny peppers this morning. Two went into my bag of peppers in the freezer. One I set out for lunch. I picked up a pizza today. I cut the tiny pepper into 3 pieces and placed them on the 2nd piece of pizza. I ate the 1st piece. Then I made sure I had the biggest piece on the tip if the pizza. After an initial taste of sweetness, I couldn't I couldn't taste anything but oregano outside of the heat. I think the oregano was more of a smell than a taste. It was as hot as a Carolina Reaper. It burned for at least 15 minutes.
A very interesting pepper, whatever it is called.

It's amazing what the color does for their appearance. It turns them from downright ugly ( ) to intriguing!
I also appreciate your taste review. I am interested in fiery peppers, although I hope to never offer a personal review.

Wow mike, you are brave! Do you have any secrets that you use to quell the heat if your mouth is burning after eating one? I have tried milk, but it doesn't work for me!

Anything you try will postpone the burn. I find it best just to ride it out. Don't eat them if you have a heart condition. But the burn makes me feel alive. It opens the sinuses and cranks up the endorphin rush when the heat eases up. That's why Mexican food makes me happy. It also makes me fat. Seriously though, after a sample, peppers like this are for sauces or powders only. My two sauces this year are a real hit at work. I think I have this fermenting thing down, now. Always ferment the vegetables as close to whole as possible. I don't cut them more than in half. I used to make a pepper mash by blending the peppers first. But it is too hard to see when fermentation is complete. It's not as easy to see the bubbles. You can weigh and adjust your final recipe easier with large chunks, too. Here is my bag of dried habaneros and scorpions. I'm just waiting for the last ones to ripen to dry and add to this bag.

Sheesh I had typed out a whole reply early this morning. I guess I forgot to press send.
mike, I know how you feel or should I say Mark does. He is the same way. that you are eating hot foods and peppers. Truly enjoys it especially with a stuffy nose.

Thanks for the hot pepper eating reality tips mike. I was hoping for a magic solution to lessening the heat. I absolutely love eating spicy foods, especially Mexican, but it is not easy for my mouth or my stomach to handle. The peppers in the ziploc look DANGEROUS!

OK, now I'm really confused. I'm planning on planting a cherry tomato garden on an Ultra tomorrow. That leaves me with 4 Bounties that all will be open soon. So I started going through the remaining seeds I have from my last 2 seed purchases. Then I find the package of Bhutlah Scorpion seeds, unopened with all seeds inside. What the heck did I plant? I've known for a while these peppers weren't Bhutlah Scorpions. Jeez!

Could you send a photo to a hot pepper seed vendor and see if they can tell?
