I got it at Walmart! It’s been a few months since I’ve been inside an actual store instead of doing curbside, but last time I was there I saw them near the measuring cups in the kitchen tool area  |

Oh, those ARE nice!! My mom was a chemistry teacher for 37 years and has some beakers she likes to use around the house, yet it somehow never occurred to me to use beakers for nutes!!! Likely because no matter how much I love mom, I HATED chemistry (and most of the other sciences, weirdly enough), which generally leads to me forgetting about all its tools unless they’re directly in front of me. Weird how much I ended up hated memorizing chemicals but loved the higher mathematics, which requires just as much memorization as chem did. Guess I’m more like dad, his degree is in math, which has always made more sense to me than chem or bio.
Random tangent - I took Geology as an elective in college and that was pretty much the only science class I’ve ever enjoyed, largely because of how entertaining the professor was. Like, my degree is in civil engineering and I didn’t even like physics, something engineers rely on every day to keep things from falling apart. It was the most boring class I’ve ever sat through in my entire life. The actual engineering courses were a lot of fun (I DESTROYED the grading curve in the structural analysis class, which was basically physics as it applies to building things, and is my favorite class even 8 years out of college. I may not use any of the formulas any more, but it gave me a hearty appreciation for fulcrums and spatial awareness that physics tried and utterly failed to drive home). Somehow pure science courses make even the coolest subjects dry and terrible.

The thing about those cheapo ebay beakers, and I assume not the quality beakers.. right under the top measurement line it says Approximate..  |

I posted somewhere else about this at one time. I have the 5ml and 10ml syringes but I also use the OXO Beakers and love them. |

I don't have a lot of experience with hydroponics yet, but I would guess too much nutrients. The reason I say this is I just flushed and filled my herb garden for the first time. I have a DIY Bounty that holds about as much water as the Farm so I used 16ML of nute to start. This was my first drain and fill and my plants were very heathy looking. The bottle says on second refill to go to 24ml which I did. Then 2 day later my parsley had the white/brown edges on some of the leaves that seems to mean too much nute and were also kind of stiff and curling. I had not checked the water on day one after the refill and it was lower than I normally allow it go get (making for a more concentrated mix). Since refilling the water level and keeping it full, the plants are doing much better. Not knowing anything about your process I am just guessing with using the image of the left plant as the only data to go on. Hopefully you can determine the root cause of the failure to prevent it from happening again. Good luck!
Are you referring to this one? I totally missed it.....
I find herbs do not need the full amount of nutrients. I think your parsley had too much nutes. I keep my nutes at 16 to 20ml of nutes for herbs. As for water, some plants will use more then others as well as one day it will drink a lot then others not at all. I have had to add water top many units daily... Is this what you were referring to as "pump" working correctly?

@shawn, I was talking about maskedsonnet tomato plants that died. I agree my garden got too much nutrient this time around and I will reduce next time. When Lookin at Maskedsonnet's plant that as still growing it resembled a plant that had too much nutrient using my resent experience as the driver for my statement. After more thought it seems like the smaller plants decline seem a bit fast to just be too much nutrient. The thread had digressed to measuring devices which is great, but I was still fixated on the failed tomato plant and why.

Ok... If the roots were cuts too much, it the plants was pruned too heavily, not healthy, change in temp a pump not running can all be causes. Sometimes I find that one day they are great and the next dead. It happened to one of my pepper plants
