I think over-feeding may have been the culprit for the smaller tomato plant's sudden almost-death. Luckily he has bounced back perfectly well and is getting bigger! I used the syringe to measure the food this time around, and no signs of death like last time. And the larger plant has quite a few tomatoes hiding in the thick leaves!!  |

WhoHoo.. Do you eat tomato sandwiches?
Tomato's of any size sliced to 1/4" thick
Toasted white bread
Hellman's Mayo
2-3 slices of Natural Slender or Newyorker American Cheese
and a Dash of salt.
Yum!
I never ate tomatoes until I got married and finally tried her tomato sandwich with my own tomato's.

I’m gonna have to try that, I’ve never had a tomato sandwich! They sound yummy! We’ve always just sliced them and sprinkled them with a little salt, or just sliced and ate plain. Home grown tomatoes are the bessst  |

I love just plain tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise and toast sandwiches. Especially when you have the home grown tomatoes that are so big that one slice covers the bread.
Add crisp bacon and it is out of this world!

I love just plain tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise and toast sandwiches. Especially when you have the home grown tomatoes that are so big that one slice covers the bread.
Add crisp bacon and it is out of this world!
That just reminds me of bacon sandwiches, yummmmm!! Bacon, toast with melted cheese, Mayo, avocado, and home grown tomato! Breakfast of champions |
