A couple pf weeks ago Renee's had a half price sale and I bought several packets. Mark liked the selection so I am giving these a try. I have others from other vendors should they not work out.
LEFT SIDE:
Heritage Chile - NuMex Joe E Parker: Our favorite authentic New Mexico style chile with long, straight, 6-7 inch meaty pods, a medium heat level and rich, full flavor. Tapas Peppers - Spanish Padron: These hard-to-find, authentic specialty peppers are from the Galicia region of Spain. Picked small, then quickly sizzled in fruity olive oil, Padron peppers make delicious traditional Spanish "Tapas" appetizers. Once you taste these savory little mouthfuls, you are guaranteed to want more! The tapered fruits begin bearing earlier than other peppers, and produce in abundance over a very long harvest season.
RIGHT SIDE:
Italian Roasting Peppers - Corno di Toro Mix: Corno di Toro or “Bull’s Horn” sweet peppers are traditional Italian summer favorites. The tall, branching plants bear heavy sets of spectacular, 8 to 12 inch long, curved, tapered and pointed shiny peppers whose thick, sweet flesh colors up to bright yellow or vivid red. These colorful, flavorful big beauties are perfectly delicious fresh or use for roasting and grilling. Seeds are color coded with USDA food grade stain to distinguish varieties. Red seed = Islero F1 and Undyed seed = Giallo Paprika Pepper - Hungarian Magyar: We import this variety from Hungary where it is widely recognized for making top-quality sweet paprika. These early ripening plants produce heavy yields of slender, pointed, 4-inch crimson-red peppers. Once harvested, simply dry them and grind into sweet paprika spice powder that offers wonderful, rich, full-bodied flavor and is an excellent source of vitamin C.

Oh man, I can't wait to start growing peppers again, it's what I've missed the most with my machines being "quarantined". Hope these all turn out well for you, looked them up on the website and they all sound tasty!!

The NuMex Joe E Parker, Como di Toro Red and Hungarian Maygar all have germinated. I htink htere is life in the other two but can not really tell yet.

All have life except for the yellow roasting pepper. However I can not see both seeds so there is still hope. Two have popped out over the sponge top. Waiting for another to pop up and I will get a picture.

I need to replant my Como di Toro seeds. While the red one was going great the casing would not come off the leaves and died out. SO I will plant one of each again today.
I will wait another week before thinning the other plants.

I am so mad at myself. I pruned one of the peppers and I think I stunted it. I am letting it be to see how it does. THe others are doing well. I trimmed some leaves out for air flow.
Once my phone charges I will get a picture.

Peppers are very hardy plants, you can cut back up to 90% of the plant and it will easily recover as long as enough of the main stem and some of the roots are intact.
