Fabulous peppers, Shawn! I hope that you didn't do anything bad to your back. It's almost impossible NOT to violate the doctor's orders when you see a disaster like that about to happen.

Even if I followed everything perfectly you still cannot follow everything.

I FINALLY see some changing of colors on two plants. They are getting darker in color and a few have a very deep red starting.
As soon as I can I will have Mark get a picture. I can't get them yet

Today I picked a few peppers and before I could photo them they were ingested... an d not be me LOL
anyway, here is a quick assessment of two...
Heritage Chile - NuMex Joe E Parker: Had a really nice medium heat. Sweet and pleasant flavor. Minimal seeds and nicely sized.
Paprika Pepper - Hungarian Magyar: Had a really nice sweet smell. However was a little sour note but sweet. Minimal seeds.
I will get pictures next time.

UPDATE:
While they might have a slightly sour taste raw, cooked these are wonderful and sweet with a great flavor. I diced a few up and cooked them with some eggs.
I toasted one of my own handmade everything bagels, added breakfast chicken sausage with a slice of low sodium provolone then then the egg with a slice of provolone. This was Mark's breakfast. I just had a nibble ,,, I am not a breakfast person that early in the morning.

Took the last of the peppers off the Hungarian Magyar and they are now in the freezer until I want to use them. The right side will get scrubbed next week. The right side is still looking good and I am getting red peppers from the Spanish Padron often. The NuMex Joe E Parker are slowly growing but they are pretty big. I will try to get a picture.
Nutes were added yesterday as well.

We had our first Heritage Chile - NuMex Joe E Parker Pepper today.
It was thick walled, juicy and sweet. There is a slight kick, half the temp of a jalapeno. However the heat is in the seeds. This is a keeper. I will take a pic of the next one.

TOday I ended the NuMex and am waiting for a few tapas peppers to redden. Then I will end that.
I need top deep clean this unit and am eager to start new peppers. I hope to do this over the weekend.
