Happy New Year everyone.
I just got up a half hour ago. I walked around to check my plants. I have a Rubbermaid Cart I keep all four of the older Bounties on. This morning there was a lot of water sitting between. Most of it gathered around the power strip I plug them all into. I cleaned up the water after unplugging the strip. There was maybe a quart of water there. I watered everything last night. I do remember a quick splash of water while watering but not close to that much.
I may be losing it! All four Bounties are still full. My watering can is across the room under the Farm XL. I may have to change my address to the funny farm. Jeez!

OMG mike. I have to laugh because stuff like that happens here too. I think I am losing it at times too!
I am in good company. Maybe we can get rooms on the same floor

It's been what, six hours since I cleaned it up. That same area is still dry, so no leak (I think). Unless the water ran along the water-fill lid as I was filling them and ran down the side of the garden, I just don't know.

No ceiling leak? I think that I would put the power strip up on a brick or something, just in case the water returns. However, you are probably right, that the water was silently running out of the bowls as you were filling them. I like that explanation, anyway.

No ceiling leak. I'm on the top floor of the condo building, and we had a new metal roof installed 3 years ago.

Jeez, I already hate snow! It's really coming down. It's not supposed to stop until 7am. Yuck.
I still need to drive across town and check on my parents.

Oh No Mike. How much did you get? I do not like the snow either. If you do go out please be careful.

It is somewhere between 3-5" The superfine snow that freezes. The plows have been through so I can't really tell. It's 17°f out, so salt won't work as well.
Hopefully it's been cleared out in 5 hours when I go out.

Just be safe. Today it is in the 50's and the cold front will come thru fast. We will get snow tomorrow. How much is still in the air as of now but the ground is warm so hopefully a lot will melt however it can also freeze.

You had Mystery Water, I have missing items.
About an hour ago I grabbed some spray I needed. For the life of me I can not find it. I looked everywhere including the garbage. I am losing it ... mind and items.

I don't think you are losing it, just being distracted? If you know what I mean? I remember, years ago, when my Aunt would misplace things. Her glasses, mostly, but all sorts of other things. 9 times out of 10, we would find the missing item in the refrigerator. Did you look there?

campingcorgis, I did finally find the item. It was laying down in a bowl on the buffet in the dining room. Have no idea how it got there.
But here is a true story ... After my back surgery at some point I was looking and looking and looking for my reacher gadget. Mark and I both looked for DAYS. Could not find it and swore it was gone for good. We bought a new set. Well about a month later (not to long ago) I went into the garage into the freezer, which I had been in multiple times over the months and found it hanging inside on the door.
I laughed so hard I could not breath LOL.....

Glad you could laugh about it, Shawn! I lost a serving spoon, a few months back. Looked and looked for it until I gave up and bought a new one. Then, of course, I found it. It was in the bottom of the dishwasher. No idea how it ended up there, or how it didn't bother anything. The only reason I saw it was I finally turned on the overhead light when putting dishes away. I usually don't bother with a light, since we have a "light tunnel" overhead and that usually provides enough light for jobs like loading or unloading the dishwasher.

Usually my "lost" items turn up in one of the to-be-shredded baskets. I wish that I could train myself NOT to set things down randomly, but there's really no hope of succeeding at that. 🤪

I've had this happen too! At this time of the year, I can only think of Christmas Vacation - "....AND WHY IS THE FLOOR ALL WET, TODD?? I DON'T KNOW, MARGOT!!!"

Well, my water issue hasn't returned so I must have not been paying attention while filling with water. That's good.
But what do I do to get the snow to stop? 12 inches in 36 hours. No thanks!

Well, mike , for me, the moment I plan something around it, it stops! So, I would say, make plans for a get together or some activity that requires snow and it will disappear! Or, I found this video for you... <img src="//storage2.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/video-preview.png" video="<iframe width="560" height="315" src=" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>" alt="Video Preview">

OK, do they make those for Michigan? We already have the 12". Supposed to get another 3" tonight. The snow bands coming off of Lake Michigan are no joke.

Oh No Mike. It is snowing here now and I am not a happy camper at all... So far it is the light fluffy stuff but that will change when the temps warm.
I hope it stops for you.
