Just a picture update, not much change in a couple days but wanted to get on an even number. Will be moved to the bucket system and one removed this weekend .. I hope!

Unfortunately this seedling seems to have given up.. Have planted another seed in a new sponge, back to the start. This was the pant that I hoped would be a big provider of fruit in early spring up until July when the outside garden starts producing. The waiting begins again..

Planted 2 more sponges, one seed in a Parks sponge, pre wet and rinsced, and 2 in an Areogarden spong. Both in the DIY bount. Parks did to go, both seeds in the AG did.. Crossing fingers they keep going as this was the biggest of the 3 plants I was growing.

2 weeks and now we are starting to pick up some speed. This plant should/could grow to 3-4' as it is not a dwarf. If anyone is interested, downed all 3 of these from ph6.5 to 6.2 per fertilizer manufacture specs. This one is a little early but 6.5 is a bit high once they get growing. Ec is 2.12 water temp ranges from 69-71 Lights on temp 79-82 night time 66-67

The water temp numbers are interesting to me. The air temp in my upstairs growing room--actually my "office" before I retired--gets over 80 during the afternoons. The water temps aren't nearly that high, but the tomato plants have really slowed their growth.

This is a basement that stays around 67 this time of year. The floor (concreate slab) is about 64. The heat is generated by the lights. the heat in the water is generated by the pumps and air temp. I have everything on a timer so the tub and buckets pump runs for 15 minutes every 2 hours and the DIY bounty runs 3 minutes on, 25 off. The bounty and tub are supported on lumber to raise them up to the sameish level as the 5gallon buckets. The buckets are in a large tub for leakage containment. I also have input and exhaust fans running when lights are on and a stationary fan inside to move air around. Oscillating fan to replace stationary arrives tomorrow! Lights are 2 200W LED panels currently running at 75% output (dimmer) at about 16" above the plants.

This guy had a lot more edge damage on some of the medium old leaves. I am not sure if it was the RR last week or with the change in humidity, or if my nutrient level is too strong. Nothing has changed as far as the mix of nutrient just the age of the plant and the humidity level. I would think the plant would drink less with higher humidity than when very dry but cutting back slightly on the refill EC. And I did find the first flowers have dropped and were pollinated!

Holy Bush Batman! I have a feeling this plant is getting too much Nitrogen as it is growing like a weed! Today after R&R I started pinching out top shoots. There are lots of flower clusters in there, just have to dig to find them and give them a shake..
