I'm moving most of my gardens to my Dining Room for this Fall. I need some help moving furniture, but I'll get that figured out. Today, I got rid of an old file cabinet that was jammed and basically unusable. I managed to get it to my storage room in the basement, down 3 floors. I need to move the bookcase from the living room to the dead corner of my living room where the Farm XL is now. I am NOT getting edema again this year! The XL will go to the dining room. The two Farm Plus' will stay in the living room. I'm retiring one of the old Bounties, it leaks.

Sounds like a plan. Now to find someone to assist in moving. Is there anyone in the neighborhood that can help? I can not remember but if you have all the bowls and lights off can you place it on a sheet or blanket and drag it?

It's not the Farm itself. I can lift one side up to the stand, then the other using my body weight to get it on the stand. It's the weight of the stand and the wooden bookshelf I can't move. I will have to get help for that.

Ahh ok. I understand now.
Wish we were closer Mark and I would have helped.

Short of willing helpers...maybe borrow or otherwise obtain some "sliders"? We have a few different types and they sure come in handy! Even when one does have helpers! Here's a idea of what we have.Or maybe rent a dolly? We bought a good one for our last move and it still comes in handy.

I thought of getting some of those for my sofa, it's a double recliner unit that weighs a ton. Good idea. I'll have to check which ones would work best on the bookcase. Thanks

I'm selling most of my camera gear. I can't get around to take nature shots any more so I might as well get some cash for it. I moved stuff around Saturday just fine. Then today at work I threw out my back just bending over in my chair, Jeez!
I am going to get the best 2022 Camera phone. The camera is pretty good. The Samsung S22 Ultra. I know the iPhone users may argue the point, but I can trade in my Z Flip3 for $600 to Samsung. It is supposed to be delivered by 8pm.
I still haven't moved the heavy furniture. It'll wait.

I am sorry to hear as I know ow much you enjoyed being out taking pictures. However I can understand. PLEASE take care of your back. I so know what you are feeling and you need to be careful.
We have the S22 Plus and I really like it. I was going to get the ultra but I think it would be too big for me. Let em know how you like it.

I'm doing OK. Work is a pain, but that is nothing new. I had two different eye appointments this week. My optometrist on Monday. I also had an appointment with a Retina Specialist on Wednesday. Those appointments went pretty well. The big pain was driving home. 20 miles due West just after 5pm down the 5th busiest street in Michigan with dilated eyes and a sunny day. It was pure misery.
The back was OK the next day. Tomorrow, college football starts. Yippee! I'm slow cooking some seriously HOT chili.

mike, funny you mention chili. Mark is looking for some. I told him I need to pick up a few things first so maybe sometime next week.
Glad the back is better. Driving with dilated eyes is bad enough but with the sun in your face, not so much. Glad you got home safely.

Try using a chunk of semi-sweet dark chocolate in the base. It really brings out the flavor. I just got back from the grocery store. The produce guy opened up new cases of jalapenos and habaneros for me to choose from. These peppers are superb. I'm going to cut up the veggies tonight and start the crock pot at 8am tomorrow on low. 2 lbs. of 80/20 beef, and 1 lb. of pork sausage.

It's mid 80s and humid here. Not football weather. That's what I call "earthquake weather". Hot, humid, and with the air very still. Can't say that I've noticed more earthquakes in this kind of weather, but it's really different from our usual weather, so one naturally thinks it portends something!

Much better in West Michigan today. 65° now, high of 75° today.
I have the meat browned and in the crock. Added tomatoes to get it started. I just finished cutting up the red onion. Peppers yet to come. Jeez, 10am and I still have a lot to do.
