SO... After terminating my pepper today, I was planning on cleaning the pump.
BUT, YUK!, Usually they aren't too bad but I couldn't bring myself to deal with this one!
Replacement pumps are only 12 bucks on Amazon.
It's worth 12 bucks to me to just throw this one in the trash.

Where did you buy your Marconi seeds, scarfguy ? from Michigan. He has a nice selection of peppers. I ordered quite a few from him and they all had a good germination rate.
That site is worth the trip just to look at the beautiful photos! I put a bookmark on my home screen so I can go back when I have a little more time.

Love your pump photo, scarfguy! For some reason, the dishwasher got my Farm bowl, deck parts, and pump squeaky clean today. I think that they may have changed the formula for Cascade Platinum Plus!

I'm with you, I'd toss and get a replacement pump. Time spent cleaning that is not worth the $12.

I've got rinse and refills to do today. One is already done, on the watercress garden.
I'm concerned about the little watercress plants. A couple have burnt looking leaves, and I did not see any roots coming out of the pods yet. But their starting nutrient level was just a HALF teaspoon of MaxiGro per gallon, so not a lot of nutrient, 1.2 EC. Which is what I refilled with. I suppose it's possible that was too much for these seedlings. Either that, or there's something else they don't like going on. I'll have to watch and see what happens.
Also need to do the south 40 Tatsoi. I'm NOT going to baby those seedlings with a second two weeks of 1/2 TSP/Gallon MaxiGro, they are getting the full 1 TSP/Gallon. Tatsoi like to eat. Hopefully it won't be too much too soon but I suspect it'll be fine to increase, and then possibly increase again in 2 weeks judging by how fast the upstairs garden goes through nutrients.

After spending more time than I cared to pollinating cucumber flowers on the National Pickling cuke vine, I terminated the two small plants in my Farm. That will leave the single National Pickling vine in a Bounty. I hated to throw them out but I just don't like having to hand pollinate so many flowers. I put them in the compost bin so at least they aren't a total waste. Then I started two pods of H-19 Pickling cukes in the Farm; these are self-pollinating and I haven't tried them before. I'm determined to find a good pickling cucumber variety that I can grow indoors.
I have a lot of "new" gardens started, mostly my old standbys of tatsoi, bok choy, green onions, romaine lettuce and Red Robin tomatoes. My Fairy Tale eggplant is loaded with flowers so I had to "Be the Bee" this morning, too.
I have a couple of sage plants that are doing great and so fragrant. I need to get some of that dried and stored. My dill plants are still fairly small but I'll need to start pruning them soon.

A couple of years ago, I started a cuke called "H-19 little leaf". It's probably the same variety as the one you planted. If I remember, the first flowers were not parthenocarpic! It had to mature quite a bit before it develops the hormones necessary to self-pollinate. SO... don't give up on it (like I did )
I always grow a variety of herbs: basil, dill, parsley, oregano, sage. I seldom use them in cooking but I love pruning them for the wonderful aromas!

Thanks for the H-19 tips, scarfguy. My little plants are just now clearing the labels.
And speaking of cucumbers, here are a few pics of the National Pickling babies. They are much more "prickly" than the Izniks or AG cukes.

That is one HAPPY eggplant! I read a new Aerogardener's post on Reddit; she was planning to put 2 eggplant pods and 2 cucumber pods in one Bounty. I was thinking "good luck with that." But we all have to learn through doing!!

Forgot to say that the UPS guy just delivered my microgreens kit for the Harvest. I need to study up on this microgreens process since I have not done this before. I'm excited to try something new.

I'm thinking about terminating my Dwarf Awesome tomatoes. I have two fairly large plants with about 5 good-sized tomatoes on them, but they absolutely refuse to show any signs of ripening after 89 days. I'm quite tired of looking at them, honestly.

Give them a healthy shot of Kool-Bloom. See if that will shock them.

I terminated the Dwarf Awesome that was in the LetPot garden. Surprisingly, the roots were very clean and healthy after 91 days. It had a single tomato that was getting a blush of color on one side so I'll see if that one will ripen on the kitchen counter. That leaves a single DA in a Bounty; it has 3 or 4 nice size tomatoes on it so I'll leave it for another week or so. I gave it a splash of Kool Bloom per scarfguy's recommendation.
Fedex notified me that my package (Classic 7 from Ebay) has been delayed in Salt Lake City and won't be here till Sunday.
I'm sifting through seed packets to find something new to experiment with. I have narrowed it down to kohlrabi or dwarf okra. I'm also going to order some "bush" cucumber seeds from my new catalog. I have not tried a bush variety in the AG, and I hope there is a parthenocarpic bush type.

You might try harvesting one to see if it ripen on your kitchen countertop. Green tomatoes will often ripen if harvested near the time they would start to ripen on the vine. If you're thinking of terminating the plants, losing a tomato wouldn't matter if it fails to ripen. FWIW, the DAs ripen very fast once the color starts to change. They're completely ripe in about 3 days.

I harvested my Bounty lettuce again tonight. Maybe it's just me, and being used to the more generous spacing of the older AGs, but I am HATING having pods in all 9 openings!
It's crowded, the leaves get wet, a fan doesn't help much, because of the crowding. Some leaves have crinkly edges and annoying blotches, and the pile of leaves that DIDN'T look appetizing for salad was nearly as large as the pile that did!
It's hard to see what I'm doing, it's hard to get at individual leaves. And these are not very old plants!
How do y'all plant a lettuce Bounty? How many pods, which openings do you put them in?
I'm not expecting to grow full-size heads, just regular AG lettuce, harvesting outer leaves, only not so badly crowded that the plants aren't healthy.

pfunnyjoy, I never plant 9 pods in a Bounty unless I'm starting seeds and plan to move most of the seedlings to other locations. With lettuce I usually plant two pods--one on each end. That produces plenty of lettuce for two people. A Bounty will handle up to four lettuce pods, though. My current favorite lettuce is Merlot from Rare Seeds (Baker Creek). It produces a gigantic head that is very suited to "cut and come again". When it finally starts to bolt (not soon), you can harvest the head and it keeps for a long time (weeks!) in a zipper plastic bag (left slightly open) in the refrigerator vegetable drawer. Romaine and Merlot in a Bounty:

pfunnyjoy , could you just terminate a few pods and space the others out some?
