I got my loot from the AG Black Friday sale yesterday. I was able to set up the Harvest Elite with some bok choy, but I can't find a space for the Bounty Elite machine. I am totally out of space but I'll figure something out!!

TODAY!...
I found this website:
while I was looking for green bean information.
She has a lot of great information on a variety of topics we have been discussing lately. Her info on TATSOI might be relevant to a recent thread.
Very professionally done! Easy to understand. Clear audio and high quality images.
Her video on aphids is outstanding (She sure was diligent about trying to save her plants)
I have no idea how old this is. Based on her gardens it must be fairly recent.
Well worth a look!
Oh, I like this! I've seen a couple of her videos on YouTube, but did not realize she had a website. I noticed she says the Tatsoi likes a rich soil, and given the way it's going through nutrients for me, I will increase nutrient strength next feeding or um, sooner. It's only been 3 days since I gave them nutes and the EC has already dropped to 1.0. The plants look good though, and I harvested a nice handful last night. For a change, I added the Tatsoi leaves to a green juice I was making. Celery, romaine heart, Tatsoi, and half a lime, with peel. It was a glorious green color when the Tatsoi went through the juicer! Tasted great. One thing I've noticed, the plants go to a more flat rosette by day, and at night, when the lights go off, the leaves go upward and they get taller looking.

Today I planted a new lettuce garden, using Baker Creek "Merlot" and "Rocky Top Blend". Yesterday and this morning I finally got my seed packets sorted and stored in a photograph storage case. It's the one that Shawn recomended. It holds a lot of seeds! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0948Y6LX5/If I had something like that around, I wouldn't trust myself not to go on a seed buying spree, LOL! Looks great though!

I currently only have space for ONE of the two Bounty models that are incoming. So I need to get busy as well! I managed to swap some things around and got the Bounty Elite jammed in! I did a head count and currently own 26 AGs and 3 knock-offs. I have 6 machines that are out of service now and I hope I can unload some of them on my kids this week.

I'm disappointed... (sniff, sniff) ... I've only got 20.

I'm disappointed... (sniff, sniff) ... I've only got 20. I'll have a dozen when I get my two newly ordered Harvest XLs. It's not how many you have but what you do with them.

On R&R days, I wish I was back to owning only two again.

Today I terminated the Tom Thumb peas; they were a total dud. They germinated and made small plants (6" or so), but the leaves got brown tips and the plants seemed stunted. I was not sorry to see them go.
Not sure whether I'll start something new in that Bounty or just moth-ball it for a while.

In my haste to test the National Pickling cucumbers in an AG, I neglected to verify whether they are self-pollinating. Of course now that the vine is setting small fruit and flower buds, I read that they need pollination. I ordered some small artist paint brushes from Amazon and will give this a go, but going forward I will not be planting non-parthenocarpic varieties indoors.
I started some chard and bell pepper, but that's all the "new" stuff going on.

And here I put those cukes in my Amazon cart to try. I have 2 cukes going in my bounty but boy are they struggling for some reason. They are only around 3 inches high and aren’t growing. I may end up taking them out and putting them outside! That seems to be my answer whenever my things don’t do well!! Lol!

Happy Thanksgiving, SG!! I need to go peruse your Etsy shop.

I can vouch for the National Picklers in an outside garden; they do great and are prolific. I'm just not in the mood to spend my days pollinating. (Duh; I don't know why I didn't consider that before I had this vine.)

scarfguy , your little siphon is really slick! I did R&Rs on three Bounties in record time this morning. My plants thank you for the prompt refreshing of their water and nutrients. For full description of how to use this, see scarfguy 's original post. The photo below is from scarfguy's original post. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BL9QQ5G6

TODAY:
I'm terminating my Marconi sweet peppers. I planted 2 peppers (a marconi red and a marconi yellow) in a bounty 210 days ago. It has yielded an abundant crop of sweet bull horn peppers all summer.
BUT, it's time to go. I'm going to replace it with Park's Whopper, a large classic green bell pepper.
I highly recommend the Marconi peppers. There are red, orange, and yellow versions. They are large sweet bull horn type peppers. Mine grew to just about 36 inches. SO, you will need a farm XL or, as I did, remove the light hood from a bounty and suspend an LED light panel above the plant.

Where did you buy your Marconi seeds, scarfguy ?
from Michigan. He has a nice selection of peppers. I ordered quite a few from him and they all had a good germination rate.
