So I’m back with Aerogarden after a while and I’m having a few issues with some of my herbs, I’m not sure how to post a pic but I’ll try and describe my issue. My Thai Basil is outside of the green card. The Genovese seems to be growing but still very low in the container (about half way to green cover). Is there anything I can do to promote it to move faster? Aldo, the chives only had 3 stalks car out I would thnk there would more. Lastly, there appears to a small bundle of white stuff at the bundle of white stuff the base of my chives. I wish I could share some pictures. It would probably help! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was also disappointed with chives. I've tried them a few times and they were always wimpy - few stalks and tasteless when harvested.
As for the white stuff, it's some kind of mold and it's very common. I've had luck getting rid of it with the application of a little bit of hydrogen peroxide. Be sure to use 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Anything stronger can damage the plant. Just put a few drops on the mold with an eye dropper.

drewgb810, chives don't do well for me in an AG, either. I've had good luck with chives started in an AG by transplanting them to a pot or raised bed outdoors. If you want to continue in the AG, patience may be all that's necessary. Raising the grow light a little may encourage your basil to stretch upwards toward the light. What are you doing about nutrients? Could be that your basil and chives could use some more. I often add 2-4mg of AG nutes in the middle of the 14-day cycles, if a plant is slow-growing. (This works well with heavy feeders like cukes.)
