Thanks for the welcome! Here's my short AeroGarden story...
In January, I purchased one as a gift for my son. He's always wanted to 'live off his land' so I figured this would be helpful to start his garden. He and his daughter were so consumed by their new 'science project' and I was so impressed with the growth rate that it inspired me to get one for my home. I've never been into gardening, but I do like cooking with fresh herbs. I purchased a salad greens kit and mixed a few of those with some of the pods that came with the system.
Fast forward to today... I am 3 weeks in and my salad greens are growing wild! The basil is following right behind them... the chives and mint are doing well also.
I'm expecting my 2nd AeroGarden delivery tomorrow. The new one comes with a bonus seed starter system, which I first plan to use to get seedlings for my new container garden.
I officially have a new hobby!
I hope to get lots of tips and techniques from the AeroGarden Addicts community!
Thanks again for welcoming me!

Hello and a sunny welcome to @rickr, lauraz and @oldgrower. I hope you enjoy the forum and look forward to hearing what you have growing. Greetings from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Discovering this group was a delight for this novice Aerogardener. My first unit arrived as a Christmas gift, and is now joined by four other units. We have already eaten cucumbers, the vines of which have just about reached the ceiling, tomatoes, lettuces and herbs a-go-go. Four varieties of hot peppers are sprouting as we speak and I am looking forward to adding some flowers to liven things up a bit (not that things really need livening up). Now that I am so old and creaky, outdoor gardening is not the joy it was in days past, so this new obsession is just the ticket. Looking forward to learning from y'all or as they say around here, "y'uns." I'm a transplanted Yankee, so I don't say either one actually. Kathleen Malone (oldgrower)

Hi All,
I just bought and am starting 2 Aerogardens. One is a 9 hole Bounty with lettuce and cherry tomatoes set up in my laundry room and the other is a 6 hole Harvest for herbs in the kitchen.
I posted a question just now in the General Discussion forum about my silent pump. Not sure if that's ok.
Excited to be an indoor gardener! Thanks for this forum!
