I am all ready and set to go. Tomorrow morning I will place my pod in the unit to begin Mike's Jalapeno GAL!
My Gal pepper will be the JALAPENO GIGANTIA HYBRID - medium; Jalapeno; 3 to 4 inches long by 1.25 to 1.5 inches wide; thick flesh; matures from green to red; pendant pods; green leaves; 18 to 24 inches tall; (70-80 days); Uses: Chipotles, Fresh Salsas, Mexican Cuisine, Mole, Pickling, Canning/Processing; C.annuum.

In 5 days it has grown. There is a tiny bud (look at 2nd pic which is a closeup) forming. Question! mike or drbanks or anyone who knows peppers ... should I cut the bud or or top it?  |

I'd remove it. If you let it (and others) to develop at this stage the plant will shift the plants energy to the blooms instead of developing a strong plant base.
