No sign of life in either? I wonder how long it will take. Anyone see life in theirs? I may start a paper towel one, any suggestions?

Two of the seeds took and here they are. mike , I know I asked this on my Big Jim so if you see this one first great if you answered please ignore. How long do you let these go before deciding when to trim out all others but one?

In 5 days it has grown. There is a tiny bud (look at 2nd pic which is a closeup) forming. Question! mike or drbanks or anyone who knows peppers ... should I cut the bud or or top it?

I'd remove it. If you let it (and others) to develop at this stage the plant will shift the plants energy to the blooms instead of developing a strong plant base.
