Hello, Finally received and set up my farm xl today! It’s much bigger then I thought. No problems so far other then it was missing the free heirloom lettuce seed kit. I have the salad bar seed kits set up currently. The plan is to get another farm or farm plus to go on top of this one to get our yield up to daily family salads. I was shocked to discover I could link it to Alexa for voice control. Lol

Looks good! I have a Farm XL still boxed up but I didn't know it would work with Alexa. I wonder if my Farm Plus does?
Edit: I just got my Farm Plus to work with Alexa! Super excited.

I second clumsythumbs, the XL is tall. You can grow some nice tall plants in there for sure.

Those XL units are so tall. I'm really curious to see if people end up just growing 1-2 tall pepper or tomato plants in them after they've had time to mess with it a bit more. What do you plan on doing with all those extra tomato pods. Are they for your outdoor garden also?

I am so happy that you enjoyed your salad. There is nothing better then harvesting what you grow and eating something extremely fresh!
Are you adding a calcium supplement to your tomatoes or just nutes and R&R?

Just nute and it’s the last day of its lower amount, with the first four weeks utilizing 4 caps of nute biweekly. It goes up to 6 caps after changing out the water tomorrow. Thinking I will only use 5 caps for the lettuce side, you can practically watch it grow in real time at this point. ;-)

Both sides look really wonderful ravenlocke! Those lettuce leaves look really big and healthy (could harvest more/again!). I do not know about the Farm, but I know in my Bounty, I was lowering to about 6ml rather than the 12ml that is recommended (starting at week 4). I still got a lot of leaf burn, but not sure if this is from the lights being too low, nutes, cutting with scissors, or some combo of all that. Yours looks healthy, so I would stick with what you are doing!
