I've had these bell pepper pods for a while and will now finally plant them today. Two pods planted in the far corners of the Bounty. I will be feeding it AG nutes and Calimagic.
I'm looking forward to this new project! This is the first tall pepper I have planted so some pruning will definitely be involved. Maybe I'll look into the FIM pruning method.

Hi fellow addicts! It’s been a while since I’ve updated my gardens. Yesterday was 33 days since I’ve planted the peppers. There were two plants in the left pod but only one in the right so it got a nice head start. I guess it’s time to start pruning?

Assistance needed! The garden has been doing fine until now but there are large white spots on my leaves! This morning I noticed the plants were dripping with fluid and came home to the spots. It’s been 50 days since planting. The plant on the right grew alone so it’s bigger than the one on the left that had two plants in the pod. It’s flowering but now it has those spots. They don’t seem to be growing much at this point. Gave them fresh nutes and calimagic last night.

Were those leaves touching the lights? DO the spots feel dry and crinkly as if t hey are burned?
As for them dripping water, I know when my plants are dense and I shake them water will fly as the condensation gets between the leaves. Hence me always turning the plants and shaking them and even at times trimming inner leaves here and there.

The first thing I thought of was "too close to the lights". I, like Shawn have had sweaty leaves when they are too hot. If it were me, I would clip off the damaged and sickly, mottled leaves so the energy will go to healthy parts of the plant. It will come back... Nice flowers on them too! One thing I like to remember as a rule: more nutes is not better for the plants. When there is damage, I dump and run on plain water for about 2 or 3 days and then start with 2-3ml , watch the plants, and then add more the next day.FWIW..but that's just what I do, and the techs from AG prob'ly scratch their heads at my reasoning. But it works for me. .

Hey fellow addicts! I’m still around maintaining my gardens but been quite lazy when it comes to taking photos and giving updates here. But I’m here now! The peppers are doing their thing. The plant on the left has almost caught up to the other in height but that’s about it. There’s only a couple of peppers growing and they’re tiny. There are about 6 peppers growing on the other plant but it’s getting a bit crowded up top with all of the new growth. Did some pruning of the lower leaves and tidied up a bit so here’s a pic!

Look at tat nice honkin' big pepper. Are you going to wait for them to turn red or do you prefer the green? I hope mine do as nicely for the upcoming GAL

Lookin' good! I planted those as well, had decent production, but mine were mostly smallish (compared to commercially bought/grown ones). Yours look to be coming along really nicely. I only used AG nutes and never added CaliMagic, so interested to see how you do!

I’ll probably wait until most of them are red but I might try one or two beforehand.

We are almost ready for harvest! I have seven peppers on this plant. Might use them for dinner tomorrow.

Those are great looking! Definitely bigger than the ones I was able to grow in my attempt! Also a decent count! I actually have my plant in a pot outdoors and when was watering this morning, so a ton of flowers and mini buds. Hoping most of them survive to become another batch of peppers. I think I got about 5 the first flowering and another 3-5 the second round. They grow to be nice healthy plants. Mine is still going many months later. Congrats on the bountiful production!

Harvest time! Got a little under a pound, mostly from one plant. I’ll probably chop them up for a stir-fry tomorrow and freeze anything left over. Eager to taste them!
