I have yet to turn plants. I’ll give it a shot.
I only ask because I turn mine every few days and it does keep them from leaning. Plus I know all sides of the plant are getting light. For example it they start to grow outside the light area, turning them gives those branches light as the plant is turned.
By no means is this necessary, it is just something I found helpful. Turning plants also keeps the roots in check by forming a soft root ball aiding in the roots getting into the pump.

I, too, do the same thing when I feel it's necessary but not all the time.  |

210 days since planting and the plant on the left has now taken over! It is more than 2 feet wide and almost a foot and a half tall. Some of its leaves are blocking the plant on the right. There are a few peppers in various stages still in the plant but I’m debating how much longer I’ll keep on growing this one. It’s been a great producer so far.    |

I am so happy this plant is giving you many peppers. I always have the same question, how long do I let projects go on for. However for me, I am always eager to start new ones. So after two or three sets of harvests I will end and start fresh. But of course everyone is different  |

But of course everyone is different  I thot the whole point with AG Gardens was to grow these plants year around and to harvest them as many times as the plant will produce? Which, by the way, is why I have my golden tomato plant still growing and producing after 6 months now. I understand the 'bitter taste' thing after 3 harvests when it comes to lettuces but the plants that will still produce constantly, I don't? My point here is to ask why would you terminate a perfectly good plant to replant something else? Am I missing something with these AG Gardens? |

Nothing missing here  . Sometimes Mark or myself will get bored with a project or we just want to start something new. If it were spring or summer I would replant it in a pot and leave outside to continue (like I have many times in the past) but in the fall and winter I just end them. Also if we are growing something and then taste it and do not like it, it will get pulled and ended too!
It is personal preference I guess.  |

I personally get bored with projects that take forever. Also , if they are unsightly, I don;t want them hanging on as mine are in visible places like the living and dining rooms. Also, if a slow growing variety looks 'finished', is it worth the cost of fresh $$nutrients and electricity to wait and wait and wait to see if it will start to blossom again? For some,yes. For me of little patience,no. So, it all depends on the AG-er.

These two plants have been quite prolific! The one on the right is still fighting encroachment from the one on the left but is producing a lot of flowers. I’ll probably have to support the plant once the fruit emerges because the stems are not too sturdy.   |

Help! I woke up to drooping leaves on one of my pepper plants!  Leaves look like this:  Some of the fruit is not ripe but feel and look like they’re drying out.  I was hoping to make it to a full year since planting but at day 347, this one seems to be done. The plant next to it seems fine for now. |

I just lost one of my young eggplants to something that caused those brown spots on the leaves. The other one is fine so far.
Since peppers and eggplant are related, when someone answers you, it might help me, too.
