The plants are looking GREAT starting to show lots of flowers. I'm pollinating an the electric tooth brush type device.
But so far I've had several flowers fall off each of the plants.
Any suggestions?

Is it a vibrating toothbrush? It might be too vigorous. I used a small artist's brush, about the size kids use for water colors.

I'm not sure that is the problem as I've found many of the flowers laying on the counter prior to me touching them.

Is it just the petals falling off? Or does the whole flower break off at the stem? The fruit looked like this when it started to form at the base of the former flower. The petals had already dropped off. But if the base of the flower isn't left behind, something must be wrong.

It is not unusual, especially with tomatoes (pepper plants for me), to have some blossom drop. I think you are ok with your plants if they are not falling in abundance..a photo would be helpful as well.

Is the fruit staying on the stem? If so then no worries. However plants like peppers, I will lose some flowers with buds on them.

Nothing to worry about if just the flowers are falling off. They will do that. Sometimes the fruit pushes them off as they grow. Sometimes the flowers stay stuck to the top of the fruit. I get so many flowers on my deck as my peppers grow.
Like I said as long as the fruit is there the flower can fall off.

It's now 9 1/2 weeks into the grow and not a fruit in sight. The plants are still putting on a few new flowers but 2 or 3 are falling off (with a bit of stem) daily.
Water, light and neut are as suggested by aerogrow.
I'm still having a hard time believing that this is normal.
I've been doing several aerogardens off and on for 7 years and had no problems with lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and herbs.
The tomatoes in the garden 3 feet away from this one are happily out of control and the lettuce 3 feet away also has no problems.

golddustpeak, I wish I had an answer for you, but I am as puzzled as you are about the lack of fruit set.
I could guess that adding a oinch of bloom booster or a couple of ml of CalMag might help, but those are just guesses.
Maybe the problem is just with that particular plant.
I hope someone else will be able to answer you.

I've been growing eggplants as well and have had flowers drop (e.g. where the entire flowers break off completely from the stem). Occasionally, even newly forming fruit drop as well, which is always sad to see. I've found that they're very similar to pepper plants in that way.
In my case, I used a pH meter and found that the pH of the water was dropping like crazy (to roughly below 4.0), so I've been having to use a product called "pH Up" to raise the pH of the water as necessary. This wasn't a one-time thing; the pH tends to drop almost overnight sometimes, so I've had to continually monitor it more than any other plant I've grown. It seems to have helped, since my plants have produced fruits.
I also use a PPM meter to make sure the PPM range is at least around the 1000 PPM range (although online it does say it should be around 1750 - 2400 PPM).
Another thing is to simply dump the water completely, clean the bowl, refill with water and then re-add nutrients. This can help get rid of any nutrient or salt build-up, reduce the bacterial load in the water, and help reset the water's pH. It can also be a good opportunity to trim the roots if they've gone out of control.

Thanks! Sounds like I need to get a meter.

Do you have the electric toothbrush turned on? That might be too vigorous. I used an artist's paintbrush to pollinate and just brushed very gently against the interior of the flowers. I also made a point to cross-pollinate whatever flowers I had every day. (until it was obvious that a flower had done its job). I had some flowers drop, but most of them produced fruit.

Time for more help!
Plants look GREAT 2 feet tall.
pH = 6.4 ppm is being held slightly over 1000
Flowers still budding but dropping like crazy small or large.
I have some CalMag but I'm not sure how to use it or measure it's use.
I'm almost to the point of pulling them and starting over.

So here's the story.........
I placed three Fairy Tale Egg Plant pods in a 7 pod deck. Not one flower produced an egg plant and they all fell of even with monitored neuts.
I repeated the experiment using only TWO pods and now the plants are flowering and producing many egg plants!
Three Tom's were not a problem in the past.......
Lesson learned.
